VACANCY

• Advanced nursing education from a recognized tertiary institution;
• Critical Care Registered Nurse, would be a distinct advantage;
• Certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support;
• At least five (5) years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, with experience in emergency care in a hospital setting;
• Counseling and training skills;
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset;
• A reliable motor vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide general nursing treatment of company employees, contractors and their workers for injuries and illnesses.  To refer such persons to a Medical Officer/Practitioner as necessary and co-ordinate the visits to the Specialist.
2. Provide follow-up care of accident cases and other illnesses.
3. Provide Occupational Safety & Health Officer with daily and weekly Accident and Treatment reports; and advising of any recurrent problems gleaned from the data.
