Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking a meticulous and safety-conscious individual of sound character and integrity to fill the position of Warehouse Clerk at our Feed Mill in Free Town, St. Catherine. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient storage and transfer of goods whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately document all incoming goods and materials.
• Ensure proper storage of inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Facilitate the efficient and safe transfer of goods from warehouse to feed mill and other operational areas.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the warehousing environment.
• Coordinate with internal departments to fulfil stock requirements and delivery schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse facilities.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to management in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Qualifications and Requirements

• A high School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar warehouse or logistics capacity.
• A valid driver's licence (mandatory).
• Specialised training in forklift operation would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures within a warehousing environment.
• Previous experience in the agricultural or feed industry.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move goods as required in a warehouse environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and adapt to changing operational requirements.
• Willingness to work on a contractual basis.
