Jamaica Broilers Group Limited, a leading poultry and agro-processing company in the Caribbean, is seeking a dedicated and organized Stores Clerk to join our team at our Best Dressed Chicken Processing Plant.

Responsibilities:

• Issuance, receipt, and maintenance of stores inventory
• Ensuring proper storage and monitoring of items
• Safeguarding against stock-outs
• Inventory reconciliation and problem-solving
• Maintaining accurate inventory records

Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory control systems and processes
• Basic knowledge of accounting practices and principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Good human relations and communication skills
• Knowledge of HACCP or other food safety systems
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ISO 14001
• A valid Food Handler's permit
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Willingness to work on contract
• A Certificate in Inventory Management would be an asset.
• Passes in at least five (5) CSEC subjects or equivalent, including English and Mathematics
• A minimum of two (2) years' related experience in a warehouse environment
