The Best Dressed Chicken Division of the Jamaica Broilers Group is seeking a goal oriented individual to fill the position of Shift Supervisor. The successful individual will be responsible for coordinating daily operations within the Further Processing Plant, ensuring efficiency, timeliness and adherence to established procedures and standards. 

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• A Diploma in Production/Operations Management from a recognized tertiary institution;
• A Diploma in Supervisory Management;
• Knowledge of further processing operations and the related equipment.
• Knowledge of budget control techniques;
• Strong business ethics along with communication, human relations and motivational skills;
• Working knowledge of labour laws and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs);
• Excellent time management and administrative skills;
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer applications.  AXAPTA would be a distinct advantage;
• Willing to work on shift, weekends and public holidays where necessary;
• A valid Food Handler’s Permit;
• At least three (3) years’ working experience within a production environment, of which at least two (2) years must be at the team leadership level
