QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS OFFICER 

The Best Dressed Chicken Division of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their team at the Feed Mill. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the consistent quality and safety of our animal feed products.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:
 

• A First Degree in Agricultural Science or related field of study in Natural Sciences.
• Knowledge of HACCP/ISO principles and standards, including their development, implementation, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of safety principles and hazard analysis techniques to identify and mitigate risks in the workplace.
• Knowledge of microbiology principles to identify and manage potential risks of contamination in feed production.
• Ability to employ relevant government and international quality and safety standards for feed production.
• Ability to operate NIR equipment to determine quantitative nutrient levels in feed.
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems to ensure proper control and traceability of feed ingredients.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Well-developed planning skills to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently.
• Experience with data analysis and interpretation.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to working on contract and flexibility to working on a shift schedule.
• A minimum of one (1) year's laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
