VACANCY
Production Foreman BDC Further Processing Facility
The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and measuring production performance, downtime and plant yields. He/she will also coordinate the further processing production process in order to meet volume, quality and customer demands, in accordance with good manufacturing practices (GMP) and ISO Standards.
He/she should possess the following:
- A Diploma in Production/Operations Management from a recognized tertiary institution;
- A Diploma in Supervisory Management;
- Knowledge of further processing operations and the related equipment.
- Knowledge of budget control techniques;
- Strong business ethics along with communication, human relations and motivational skills;
- Working knowledge of labour laws and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs);
- Excellent time management and administrative skills;
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer applications. AXAPTA would be a distinct advantage;
- Willing to work on shift, weekends and public holidays where necessary;
- A valid Food Handler’s Permit;
- At least three (3) years’ working experience within a production environment, of which at least two (2) years must be at the team leadership level;
- A valid Driver’s Licence and a reliable motor vehicle.
