MERCHANDISER (Kingston)

The Best Dressed Chicken Division of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is looking for a professional, confident, and innovative individual to join our Marketing team as a Merchandiser. This pivotal role involves enhancing brand visibility and boosting sales through outstanding product presentation and customer service in retail environments throughout the parishes of Kingston and St. Andrew.

We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates:

• Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
• Superb interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to customer service excellence.
• The capability to execute high-quality product merchandising, particularly in large-volume stores.
• Proficiency in inventory control and the effective implementation of promotional displays.
• The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-paced environment, including fluctuating workloads and changing schedules.
• A willingness to travel daily to assigned customer locations.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Availability to work on a contractual basis.

As such, the ideal candidate must possess:

• Prior experience in merchandising meat, poultry, and further processed products.
• A minimum of one year's hands-on experience in consumer goods merchandising.
• A High School Diploma with passes in at least three (3) CSEC subjects at the General Level, including English Language, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• A valid Food Handler’s Permit.
