Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lubricant Technician at our Best Dressed Chicken Feed Mill, located in Free Town, St. Catherine. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective lubrication and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled lubrication on all designated equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor equipment for signs of wear, leaks, or contamination and report findings promptly.
• Manage lubricant inventory, storage, and handling to maintain quality and prevent cross-contamination.
• Maintain accurate lubrication records and logs.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental standards, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Assist the maintenance team with general duties as required.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

• Passes in at least five (5) CSEC subjects or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics.
• A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a similar role, ideally gained within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and ISO 14001 standards.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Important Requirements:

• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by the operational demands of the facility.
• Willingness to work on a contractual basis, with renewal dependent upon demonstrated performance and success in the role.
