The ideal candidate should possess the following requirements to be considered for the position:

• A Minimum of CAT Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• A Certificate in Inventory Management.
• Sound knowledge of inventory control systems.
• Sound oral, written and communication skills.
• Sound supervisory and human relation skills.
• Working knowledge of the Company’s products.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices relating to transaction documentation, balancing and checking.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP and ISO principles and practices.
• Competence in accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Food Handlers’ Card
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position and environment: production, manufacturing or trading enterprise.

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for:

• Accurately recording inventory transactions in a timely manner
• Participate in Monthly stock counts
• Ensuring all documents are properly signed and filed
• Review daily on-hand for possible discrepancies
• Process delivery Trucks
• Completing various inventory related reports
• Complete movement and transfer journals
