The Best Dressed Chicken Division of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Ingredients Room Attendant to support our Further Processing Facility. This role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process by managing ingredient inventory, mixing and batching, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage ingredient inventory, including requisitioning, ordering, and stock control.
• Mix and batch ingredients according to specific formulas and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of ingredient usage and traceability.
• Conduct regular inspections of ingredient storage areas and equipment.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Stores and Production, to optimize workflow.
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a hygienic work environment.
• Assist in identifying and resolving quality issues related to ingredients and finished products.

Qualifications and Skills:

• CASE Certificate in Food & Agro-Processing or Heart Certification in Food Processing.
• At least one (1) year of experience in mixing seasonings and spices, would be an asset.
• Strong understanding of food safety principles and allergen control.
• Knowledge of inventory management and good manufacturing practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Requirements:

• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, late nights, and/or weekends.
