Sanitation Attendant

(St. Ann)

International Poultry Breeders (Jamaica) Limited, a subsidiary of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited is seeking a highly motivated Sanitation Attendant to join the team at their operations, located in Caentabert, St. Ann.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility's restrooms and shower stalls, ensuring they meet the highest hygiene standards.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials according to Company guidelines.
• Replenish soap dispensers, toilet paper, and other supplies, as needed.
• Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to a supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years' experience working as a Sanitation Attendant or in a similar role.
• A Certificate in Housekeeping from an recognised institution, would be an asset.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of safe use and handling of industrial cleaning chemicals.
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent work ethic, with good attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional holidays.
