Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

This individual is required to assist with the planning, coordinating and controlling the maintenance of the location's equipment, as well as the effective supervision of the maintenance technicians.  The selected candidate will also ensure that the machine/equipment operating efficiency meets or exceeds the Company's standards.  The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• An Associate Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Certification from an approved institution (e.g. NCTVET/Heart).
• Excellent knowledge of spare parts and tools.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Well-developed analytical, troubleshooting, diagnostic and time management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of a variety of maintenance practices.
• Excellent work ethics, communication and human relation skills.
• Knowledge of accounting principles would be an asset.
• Working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) as well as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Flexible to working on shift and weekends.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a farm maintenance supervisory role.
